This Indigenous-designed wool blanket is a significant collaboration between MINI TIPI and Métis artist Christi Belcourt, whose iconic painting, JOY, comes to life in woven form.

Crafted from 100% natural fibers, the JOY blanket embodies softness, warmth, and timeless elegance. Each thread pays homage to the connection between art, nature, and community, reflecting Belcourt's signature style: the celebration of floral motifs and Indigenous teachings.

The Joy collection draws inspiration from Métis floral beadwork, finding its muse in the earth, an inexhaustible source of life. Christi Belcourt blends traditional patterns with realistic plants, like the hummingbird, a symbol of joy, and five-petal berry flowers, symbols of abundance.

Roots are also present, as in many of her creations, as a way of saying that there is so much more to life than what we see.

Through her work "Joy," Christi shares her gratitude for the plant world and reminds us to celebrate life, even in difficult moments.

Delivery time in Canada: 10 to 15 working days.

Refund/exchange within 30 days of receipt of the package (excluding shipping costs). Items must be in their original packaging, have not been used and show no signs of wear. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if these conditions are not met. These deadlines are extended for the holiday season.

You will have to pay the return costs, i.e. a $1.94 stamp. The return coordinates are identified on the box and/or the initial packaging.
